Default no bottom end after a few mods.

well i just got done putting in a a6 into my hatch. i installed a y8 intake mani with ls tb, and 2.5" catback. although i never drove with this motor before i added these it just seems like it has no bottom end at all. but does seem to pull to redline and maybe even past it. has anyone else lost bottom end after installing these parts?

what you did by adding more flow(volume) is you decreased the velocity of the air going into the motor... velocity is what helps low end power along with displacment... now you have neither so your low end power has gone ... however- since your motor has more ability to flow, you will gain power up top where velocity is not a problem... i am more of a top end person anyways ... im one of the few who's addicted to wangan
