aight bitches i got some mo money to put in my S just dont know wut to do first these are my plans correct me if im wrong im a lil new to this import tuner thing. Want the basics of course we all know wut that is I/H/E. My intentions were to boost my S but after lookin at so many S2000's seems that everyone goes SC, thats straight but i like the spoolage lil better. Yes theres lag but with SC you roped of torque due the belt going straight to the crank shaft of your engine. Anyway im now looking into SC it my first picks would be Vortec or Comptech of course with the entire setup of intercooler etc. That would be it for the engine work then go to gears get my 4.57 lightned flywheel and stage II clutch. Then for looks i want to keep it simple this isnt going to be another Ricer S this is going to be clean *** ride with a lot of power crusin down the highway and ppl know they dont expletive with **** nah wut i mean! This is kind of my opinion but its like when u hear that exhaust of a nice new G35 Coupe crusin down the highway or a M3 you know that **** has got power. Nah but for real im going to go with OEM front spoiler sideskirts and factory spoiler just want to exstend the original body style no kit leave those at home then some deep Black rims wrapped in chrome on the outside. Then get a dark limo tint Tein Susp. droped 2' all around and look into some crossed drilled rotors by Brembo or Stoptech. Thats basiclly it till i get out of Law school and start makin serious cash. Let me know your opinions and leave some comments if wut im doing is legit or even possible haha!

well, you cant buy that much stuff with $10k for the S, at least the name brands. the comtech supercharger alone is around $6k brand new with the after cooler. Rims are going to cost you $2000+ depending on your preference. Brembros are about $2500...
so with just those three things you are willing to get would cost you over $10k

 

and learn how to speak.

those 2 car domain s2000's you posted are ok...

10k won't get you that far in an s2000 if you go for the main mods...rims are 3k with tires for good stuff, and a bbk is around 2-4k depending if you go jdm or not.

wow, it's been while since i posted anything on H-T
but this is like the worst post i've seen by 19yr old.
i don't remember being that stupid/ignorant when i was 19.
if you want to be fast, go learn how to drive before you do anything to the car
s2k in stock form is faster than ITR and i bet you that you can't even pull out 50% of car's potential

i'm not an advanced driver myself compare to many great drivers on H-T
but in my bone stock s2k w/ 17" Blizzak LM-25s,
i have no problem chasing EVO, STi, G35, Z etc

BTW, if you want FAST car, why don't you go buy beater civic and boost it? along with drag slicks?

No im not in law school im in pre-law and transfering from Georgia State to UGA. 10k isnt much for an S, yes i know but its a start and i was just seeing where to start first, and with what. Ill ask the questions you give the answers. Yes, i know what an S is capable of doing bone stock with revs at 9k any true S driver would know that getting sideways through 2nd gear is quite a joy ride! Quick question though if i go SC and get exhaust and gears would that be smarter than to go I/H/E all J's racing and gears then maybe have some money left over for some ice or rims?

imo, s2k have more than enough power for noob,
in fact lots of idiots end up crashing even the stock s2k
go learn how to drive first and if stock s2k is too plain for you, go w/ i/h/e

 

boosting the S hmmm always heard that steriods were bad! lmao. I think im having second thoughts on boostin my S. I want more power but im not sure if i want it on roids. Maybe i/h/e gears and a stage II clutch will be fine, ill still have what 6k left over. What would any of you guys do with 10k.

 

I would personally slap my english teacher in the face if I were you then invest the money in a real education. But I guess your priorities are working out for the better.

Personally? I wouldnt dump it into the S2000 if your idea of fun in it is getting sideways in 2nd gear...

What should YOU do? Probobly invest in some driving school and track time, learn how to drive it...get over the youthful "omg i so wanna DORIFTOOOO LIKE CRAZY!" attitude you have and learn how to really push the car to its limits stock...afterwards, decide what kind of racing (if any) you want to do, and modify appropriately with the reamaining portions of the $10,000...

 

This is just a thought. ANYONE that comes on here and says that they have $10k to spend in a car most of the time dont. I really do not belive youhave $10 in your pocket or bank to put into this car. I see your E-Mail says "chevyZ51." Anyone that likes chevys that much really dont like s2ks. They try to make fun of the car most of the time.

BUT if you really have the $ then get the InlinePro turbo kit with 750+cc injectors and AEM EMS
