i need to get smogged due to a ticket...this is what i have....

2.5" Crimp Bend B pipe
COmptech muffler.......
Apex'i VAFC
Custom ECU

i wont pass....it's gonna cost me a lot to remove the parts and put it back to stock...

are there any ways around this......
anyone got any bay area hookups....

all the cop knows, is that i have a Muffler and intake......he is the one who ticketed me....

 

try and find a new cat

even better with a smalled I D than what u have if it can work

with my bad cat i couldnt get close to passing, but with a new cat i was free

run some red line oil fuel system cleaner a tank before and run lower octane (if possible)

 

my friend said that all i have to do is swap out my Toda B cams for some stock gsrs.........

and i'll pass..........will this work?


on a side note: my friend's cousin owns a shop that says can pass me for smog....he passed my friend jus this feb '02....

will the court accept this instead of being tested at a "State ref"

 

i thought u only got a ticket for muffler, why do they need you to take smog? hmmm what happened
