Default JDM H22 LSD tranny help 5th gear grinds what could it be???

My 5th gear grinds a tiny bit and then goes in and or let off the gas and goes in. Think it could be the gear or the synchro? TIA

I just got my M2B4, will I have the same problem? It's not in the car yet so how would I go about fixing it?

no, shift fork, internally on the tranny, i believe on the countershaft. they are slight bent, they were not made correctly.

So say I wanted to take care of this problem before installing my M2B4, what would I do? Did honda make a new shift fork?

it a normal defect in the prelude tranny. it the shift fork, just replace it. it doesn't really grind for me anymore after driving for a while. it grind at first but now it doesn't do it anymore.

ok may be a stupid question but when you go about replacing the shift fork can you buy one for a regular usdm tranny?
