me guessing oil in spark plugs

replaced distrubutor and all 4 plugs and problem went away. Also had to replace valve gasket

weird uh..... perhaps a vaccume issue? or sensor ..... keep searching cause ive seen that on other cars and smaller engines

check all your vacuum lines. Are you throwing any cels? what ecu are you using?

jus replaced all the plugs and wires and distributor...using a pr4...no cels...might be something to do with oil in tha plugs becuz the idle isnt smooth as it was when i jus replaced the plugs...i know the headgasket is shot, and only sensor i havent replaced is the tps.

bump...when i push the clutch in from goin some where itll sit at like 1700 and then as i come to a stop itll raise to about 2k...if i sit for about 5 seconds itll drop to normal idle...then stumble to about 900 and then bak up to normal which is about 1100...doesnt make sense

Just fixed this problem in my CRX

Sometimes it's the idle/air controller that you just need to spray the carb cleaner in to clean it

But most of the time it's the thermal valve, the little flat head screw/bolt on top of the throttle body next to the idle adjustment and junk...

I guess it happens, more often if you rail yoru car some..

well...i believe my ecu is shot...i put in a pr3 from a previous b16 swap and the only thing it does is jus doesnt idle up when cold, but no stumbling...powers kinda different becuz of the diff motors but other than that i think my pr4 is shot.
