Default How much does a person charge for photo's at a race track?

Like the title says how much does one usually charge for taking photo's of their car?
I'm going to be at one or 2 this year for some school related stuff(shooting a friends car for "keeping racing off the street". And well I'm going with 2 2gig CF cards, a D2x, and a D70 as a back up...
Along side with a SB800 flash, I think I could get ahold of a super telephoto lens(300 or a 500 mm), 17-55 f2.8 , and the 18-70 D70 box lens as well as a telephoto zoom (55-200)..
The tracks in question will be laguna seca and willowsprings.
How much should I charge, if they want I can also do some editing on them as well (color correction/borders) as well.

typically in the 20 dollar range depending on things too numerous to mention not the least of which being composition and clarity. This guy goes to alot of events in so cal.

IMO if you want to make decent money you need a good portfolio and then talk to the car owners to do a whole series of on and off track images

When I went to Thunderhill, I paid $40 for a burned CD of about 40 pics. Some are duplicate, so there are 3 or 4 shots from each vantage point, from about 5 or 6 vantage points around the track, which is nice because I can select the best one of each. They are all 3504x2336 pixels and VERY high quality. Dude has a trailer set up there with lots of camera/computer equipment and the CD was ready for everyone that day, organized by car number.

That topic has been very well covered on a few of the photo forums. Look here:
