obviously i need to buy a new tank and pump, the pump was broken anyway and thank god cause i know that crap would get past the fuel filter and screw everything up
im looking on ebay at tanks and they dont have hf specific tanks(the hf tank was smaller) but would a dx or si tank fit on an hf???? please help h-t

damn dude, that's sick ****.
I recommend checking out majestichonda.com and putting in the year of car and then checking out the fuel tank number for and hf, then for an si or dx and see if theres a difference. that'd be a good start, i'd say.

yeah ive checked out some of the sites on the parts faq and tanks run for about $225 or so. ebay tanks are only about $100. so it would be awesome if i could just get on e of those and save a lot of money

Ebay tank -$110
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
ebay tanks says 12 gallon but the hf tank is 10.6 gallon , while the dx and si tanks are 11.9(rounded up i suppose)
majestic honda hf tank is $250

The part numbers will probably be different, since they are different sized tanks. He was asking if the larger tanks will fit on the HF.

I would dare to say yes. I've put an HF tank in a DX before, and it fit no problem. The shells are pretty much the same, so I wouldn't se a problem. Someone needs to make plastic tank replacements for our cars.
