Fair price for a USDM B16A3?
I am doing a swap for a friend of mine and have not purchased a motor in quite some time. What would be a fair price to pay for a USDM B16A3 in California? This would be for a complete engine with distributer and P30 ECU (no transmission). And keep in mind that in CA, the fact that it is USDM increases cost.

This motor costs $1000. But then again, a B16A is cheaper than a GSR. I just don't know if $1000 is fair.

my friend payed 1100 for a b16a2 with a header, dizzy, and other parts. most people are paying 900 to 1200 for a clean obd1-obd2 b16 swap.
