Man, the fuel filter is ridiculously easy to change on our cars. You just need the right tools for the bolts which I believe is a 17mm open end box wrench and a 13mm for the top bolt. It's painless though.

Two fuel filters? don't think so. There's a prefilter on the end of the fuel pump inside the tank but that's about it.

Just the one on the firewall, it's like 10 bucks at any auto parts store. While you're there spend the extra 5 bucks for a Haynes manual, it's better than nothing.
You need:
New filter
17mm wrench
13mm wrench
10mm wrench
12mm wrench

The filter is located on the firewall on the passenger's side of the bay, right next to the charcoal canister (which you can rip out, you don't need it and it gets in the way). The filter has 2 fuel lines running to it. First off, unscrew the gas cap to keep pressure from building in the line. On the top of the banjo bolt on the driver's side, there is a smaller bolt (13mm) on top of/inside the larger one. Unscrew that to relieve the pressure. Now use the 17mm to undo the other two lines. Take the filter and bracket off the firewall. Take the filter out of the holder, note the orientation. Put the new filter in. Installation is reverse of removal. If this takes you more than 20 minutes you are doing something wrong. The new filter should come with new copper crush washers, DO NOT USE THE OLD ONES. It will probably also come with directions for installing the filter. Let your pump prime before you start the car. There's going to be a bit of fuel left in the old filter, so don't turn it upside down and of course don't smoke around it or anything.
You really should get a manual, even if it is just the Haynes. Actually, the EDM manual is free online somewhere.

It doesn't really matter, they aren't exposed for that long. Unscrew the gas cap though or it will drip a little. If you do spill fuel, you should probably let it evaporate before you start the car.
