well i ran my hatch tonight..out at a track in kenadale,tx...1/8 mile track...my best was a 9.7@72 mph..on shitty street tires...next week going to run my slicks though..any one esle ever run 1/8 mile tracks? and what kind of times do you run?

 

I ran the 1/8 mile in my old civic and best i ever hit was a 9.4 . I suck at shifting so I probably could have gotten a much better time if I was little more skilled.

 

what engine set-up did you have??

 

I had a 92 civic cx with a jdm b16a2, mugen chipped ecu, aem cai,dc sports 4-1 headers,straight pipe,larger 70 mm t-b,act clutch, stripped interior that is all I think.

well the track at kenadale is not really that great.in my opion it is kinda shitty..but i want to run at ennis here pretty soon..(1/4 mile track)..hopefully i will take my slick to ennis..i had a small amount of traction problems too..my 60 ft wasnt all that great either b/w 2.1-2.3..i know,i know that is shitty...

 

what all do you have on your motor 89ef? also what kind of 1/4 time does that come out to do you know?

 

all i have done is 92 ls motor,91 ls ecu,stock internals,air intake custom 2.5 inch exhaust piping,a pro #1 muffler..and no back seat...no ac..pretty much nothing..i am swapping out my cams and intake manifold for a 94 ls cams,intake..would like to eventually do ls/vtec..no money now though...what about you??and about 1/4 mile times not really sure any guesses?????
