Default Removing paint on my front lip...

I was wondering how i can strip of the paint from my front lip... I screwed up coz i thought the paint was already dry and when i grabed the lip, the paint got smudged and now I cant smooth it out... So im just thinking of stripping the paint and do it all over again... tried sanding it again when it dried up but it didnt work... Thanks in advance...

id grab a few grits, i dont really know how deep the smear(sp?) in the paint is, i wouldnt go any coarser than 120 tho, u dont wanna leave scratches. i used 200 on my lip when i sanded of the old colour, but i really only did this to roughen it up, cuase there were no flaws.

Start at a really fine gritt, then work coarser.
