Just bought a 95 Jdm Prelude H22A manual , I dont have the car yet and have been told it has a limiter at 112 mph , i want to know is this limiter only restricting the top speed or does it restric the rev range too ? also how to i remove this and what should the revs be hitting before the engine limits.

Right around 118Mph. Its just a speed limiter, no big deal

I think because the OP bought the whole car, and yours is a JDM motor.

 

Your ECU limits your speed, if you use a JDM ECU!!!!

exactly. I think the dude w/ the H23 is still using the USDM ECU, but the guy w/ the JDM car has a JDM ECU...
