Im looking at getting this sweet 91 CRX. Problem is i dont know that much about them im more of a civic guy. The car is a 1 owner 121000 mile 5spd base model (I think) im not sure about the base model thing. One, what should i pay for it? Two what motor comes in those things and are they worth tuning or is a motor swap a must? How is that 5spd is it worth a crap or if i make any power am i gonna roast it? Im new to this whole CRX thing so any and all info would be greatly appreciated

 

man the best thing any of us can tell u is do a little reading on the boards and do some searching the answers are already there 10x over

 

If you want it buy it. These threads are very hard cause a CRX in my area may be cheap compared to a CRX in PHX, AZ. Plus without pics, description, future plans we can't tell you anything

From what you have told me I would say it is worth $50-$15,000 that is just and estimate meow.

 

The base CRX (DX) has a 90hp 1.5L DPFI engine. Swap it.
