Default Remember a CRX with Chrysler headlights?

I remember seeing a CRX in a import magazine a couple of years back with some sort of late model Chrysler headlights installed. I believe the car was orange or perhaps red?

I'm not even sure if they were even chrysler headlights but I do remember that they fit alright *shrug* and included the corners as one piece.

I'm just trying to figure out which car the headlights were from. Just to evaluate all my options.

( I really want to go HID but the stock glass really ***** with the pattern and I'm not sure if I wana go aftermarket projector style ****. I'm a crx purest)

pic for the gangsta lean

I snapped this at the Daytona Tuner bash back in '02 before I ever saw it in a mag. It does not look bad really but IMO I would never install anything less than Honda on my REX. To each his own, good luck.

That's the only REX I have seen with these headlights, I saw it in a few mags over the years but I really don't feel like digging through my boxes of old issues to find it. I just remembered shooting this pic myself and knew where to find it quicker. Yeah it "looked" ok but I still would not do that to mine. Notice how he had to widen the fenders to fit them, I HATE these wide fender trends on the hondas because they are not actually WIDER they are just thicker. IMO what's the point of going for a wide body look when you can't even run wider wheels??? just stupid show crap IMO, the only way to really widen the body is to REPLACE the fenders with wider ones not just stick on fiberglass crap and say, look, it's wider now. sad sad sad. perfect example of rice, if the headlights would fit on normal fenders I may be more favorable of them.

It's spelled gangster, and pronounced Gang-Stur, with extra accent on the -Stur. That's how people down in the Hood do things.

I am sorry but your car looks hopeless. Drive the thing off a cliff and start over. I think that your car is beyond any repair, its ruined. Thats a tight filler you have! Who makes it?

The guys last name is Goolsby (sp) and is from a neiboring city here. He is pretty well known for his body work. I've seen the car in person several times, his work looks good, but it is nowhere near a OE fit without doing some major cutting, welding and bondoing. I think the conversion looks like *** but the labor was good
