seems awfully high for a SOHC ZC, but, what all does it include?

The shops in my area charge about $600 for labor alone. You provide ALL parts you want put on.

that is about right for the swap labor only on a DX/STD swap which has more wiring changes - however, we won't do a swap without installing new timing belt, water pump, front and rear seals and pan gasket - other things like clutch, plug wires, cap rotor, etc. are extra for parts - exhaust work varies, depending on what it is - you should always get a written estimate that lists everything you are getting and what it is going to cost - ask questions and make your wants completely clear - i know of nobody that will give you a warranty on a used engine - you get a bad engine from the supplier and it needs to be replaced, you will be paying for the labor again - sometimes, the engine supplier will work with you on that - most start-up warranties are simply that - guaranteed to start (not guaranteed to be any good)

to save money just get the engine from them as cheap as you can and then drop et in yourself. Its not hard, and it will save you alot. just make sure you have a start up warrenty and a sensor warrenty if you can..

That seems like alot for a SOHC ZC motor. That motor is the same as a D16a6 that comes in the SI. Shops around here only charge $2500-$3000 for a B16 swap.
