Default Residue free solvent

^^^ is what the dynamat box says to use to clean the area to ensure bond. The only cleaner i have is a glass cleaner with ammonia in it. and on the bottle it says not to use on painted surfaces, so what do i use?

What have you guys used?

Depends on what you're cleaning, and how liberally you apply the liquid...

But being since a bottle of rubbing alcohol will run you less than a dollar, you could use the whole bottle if you wished...
