Well, we ran the Turbo Mini-me last Saturday at Pacific Raceways. The day was pretty fair, it was a bit crowed but expected for the season opener. I practiced using the CLUTCH CUT feature on my Zdyne gold secu, man that thing is just sweet! a bit tricky at first, and it was kinda hard to find the right RPM to launch at.

I wanted to crank the boost up just a tad, but I didnt have the controller with me.

and btw, I just wanted to add that the phantom Grip lsd is a peice of ****. It acts like a Phantom, you cant even tell its their.. haha

I just wish I could have got a bit better time, Oh well, it was just a test motor/setup anyways. Its coming out in 3 weeks.


Ah yes, team homemadeturbo, My friends who ran complete terrible times that day, I think they forgot how to drive, and I think they were a bit pissed when I called them at 6am to come to the track, haha. Nether one of them have their turbos on anyways.

damn man.. haha.. good times.. you know.. i was in seattle this past weekend too.. it woulda been coo to meet up with a HT member.. we were going to bring our eg gsr.. we wanted to break the 13.5 mark on street tires.. we ran a 13.9 in spokane with less mods and 2000 ft elevation.. we went sunday but it got rained out.. friggin pissed me off!!! ****.. oh wella.. maybe i see you there sometime aights. good times.. see you may 11th

 

Abaz if you don't mind could you list your set up?I've been thinking of trying a mini me set up my self.I have a 91 hatch w/ 1.5L 4spd. And a turbo sitting in my closet.Just can't decide if i want to build a mini-me or save and go w/ a D16Y8 build up.Oh , yea have you dyno'd the mini-me?
