Since I cant post my question in the appropriate forum I will ask here and hopefully one of you guys will help me. I heard to properly install harness seatbelts you have to have a rollcage installed, is that true?

 

To do it properly, yes.
It's either that or you carry the upper belt mounts all the way back to the rear shelf area, and deal with 8 foot belts . There's a reason they mount the sholder belts high.
