Tire size? Please help
hey guys I'm just wondering about this...what kind of problem am I going to run into if I get 205/55/15 for my LS meshies? Is there going to be rubbing? Slowing the car down? My car is lowered by 1.75" with 10mm spacers, and I did search and all I found was meshies with 205/50/15 tops. Can someone answer my question? Thanks a lot guys.

Go with 205-50's....they look better too

My bad....I have 5mm spacers to make the wheel base a little wider...got them for fre anyway, so why not? So I guess 205/55 is a bad idea then?

You mean the "track" (distance between a pair of wheels on opposite sides of the car), not the "wheel base" (distance between a pair of wheels on the same side of the car).

Because it changes the suspension geometry and puts more pressure on the lugs and axles.

Correct, 205/55 is a bad idea.
If someone is giving you tires and they're 205/55 and you want to use them up, go ahead and use them. (Hey, free tires are always a good deal!) But if you're buying tires, get 195/55 or 205/50.

very bad idea, throw them in the trash. i work in a tire shop, and we wont even work on cars with spacers because they are so dangerous
