FLYWHEEL??? HELP!
I'm in the market for a lightened flywheel....I need some help with this one, is there anyone who can point me in the best direction. As far as price vs quality vs performance.
Comptech! 6.75lbs is the lightest one available.
Quality... It's what Realtime uses!
Oh, and even though it is light it is still completely drivable!
And just like the Jun – Toda war, there is another one raging between chromoly and aluminium flywheels. You will have to pick a side!

I have a brand new in the box Fidanza Flywheel I will sell you for $300 + shipping. It is 7.3 pounds and from what I hear and read on this board it is a great product.

Question, is there a disadvantage in picking too light of a flywheel?
Perhaps the biggest advantage comes when I’m at the track and going through the gears under braking. Rev matching is MUCH improved!
BABY NSX-----What coulor ITR you drive...have we ever seen eachother??
I'm driving a 00 PY, lowered and the only other mod visable is the monster tach.

I have the toda, which was installed last thursday with an exedy clutch. So far, Ive been babying the clutch due to the claimed 500 city mile break in period, and I haven't been able to romp on the car yet to see the full effect of this upgrade. However, the car does bog less, and for a flywheel that weighs under 9lbs, it is exceptionally civil in stop and go traffic. One of the reasons I picked this flywheel is that it is very lightweight, but it is also chromoly, so you don't have to worry about it fragging at high rpms.
