Stainless Steel Brake Lines or OEM Rubber - 92 EX
Alright, I'm planning on replacing the brakes on my 92 Accord EX, which has rear disks and ABS. I've already bought Brembo Blanks, and PBR Ultimates, but I have been doing research on the stainless steel brake lines and am wanting your guys' expert opinions. I would really like to figure this out before I decide to drop the $150 on the Goodridge lines. Thanks.
PS. Please if you would explain why you voted the way you did, that would be greatly appreciated.

Getting stainless steel lines over oem is a no brainer. The question is can you afford it? If you can its well worth the money. It will give you better braking power under harsh conditions since the lines wont swell up. Its not a necessity but its nice to have.
There are several advantages to be had with Stainless Braided Brake hoses.
1st: They are protected by a stainless woven stainless steel sheath which protects the hose from damage.
2Nd The same stainless steel sheath keeps the inner hose from ballooning from internal pressure.
3d The interior of the hose itself is constructed differently
Inner-most is a flexible teflon tube
next is a woven reinforced neoprene hose (the construction of oem style hoses)
last is the stainless wrap.
The advantages are no brake application delay from the hose 'growing" , a harder brake pedal feel and the security from road debris damage.

Ok, on the first link you provided, you quoted the wrong price. For the Rear Disks, it says it's a 6 line set for $173, while the Technafit set says it's only 4 lines for $135. It seems like half the sites i see are 6 line sets, and half are only 4. I'm assuming I would need the 6 line set if I'm not mistaken.

OEM for daily driver, it's useless in the street, you are not braking hard and frequent enough to feel anything.(unless you live in streets of willow)
most people treat SS line like oem line, there's no way to check for rash or cracking for SS line, unless you feel like cutting open the SS braces and check it once a year. most people will not change their line without seeing something is wrong, this could lead to problem.
goodridge will honor your lines for life, but i am not about to risk my **** on the highway for a busted line.
people race with SS line change them every season or two, which is pretty much like a race-consumable thing.
