i was just wondering when connecting my amp to my speakers, do i just connect the speakers to the amp only, or can i connect it to the amp and head unit, or does it make a difference anyways cause the amp is connected to the amp, thanks

 

If you are going to use an off-board amp to run the speakers then you don't need to use the HUs on-board amp, so you can't wire the HU to the speakers, best thing to do is depin and remove the speaker wires from the HU so they can't short out. 94
