Default I have a few questions...

I have a question. new to this kind of site, seeking some answers.
I have a 95 V6 accord. how can i make it faster? in plain terminology, because i don't know any of those words you used in the question on your FAQ sheet. lol.

another question, my transmition is slipping. i was wondering if i would be able to change the tranny from auto to manual on a v6? is so, how much would it cost?

"1. What is a 5th gen Accord? The 5th gen Accord is considered to be the best accord out there in terms of looks, overall performance and reliability. "
how do you know what gen you have?

The 5/6 spd swap is pretty expensives.

And if you want more power.... put twin turbo on it.

how to make it faster? get another 5th gen accord haha! i too have a v6 and its limited in what power mods you can add on to it compared to the 4cyl

the v6 is considered the bastard child of Accords, its a c27a4 motor, the same one used in the old late 80s early 90s legends.

your limited to what you can do to the motor since its packed in there, not as much space as in the 4 cyl version.

check out http://www.v6p.net they have a forum dedicated to the 5th gen v6

oh yeah the 5th gens were any Accord models between 1994 through 1997

thanx a lot for all your info ,you guys were very helpful.
what other types of more powerful engines could be dropped in this car?
i was under the impression, that a 6 cylinder car would always be faster than a 4 cylinder, just because it was bigger. i got a lot to learn about this stuff, and I'm rreally dedicated to figuring out what this is all about .so if you have any pointers, I'm all ears. thanx a lot. 1

you missed couple of important point

1)his tranny is slipping

2)twin turbo will put more stress on the tranny

3)slushbox sucks

if you add 1 with 2, you ended up with a twin turbo accord with no tranny, not really any cheaper or faster than before, right?

Considering what an absolute pig the 2.7L V6 is (iron block and such), I'm quite sure he could see a quite appreciable performance gain from dropping a 3.0 aluminum block V6 and Tranny in it's place (if it will bolt up), since it not only developes more power, but also puts the car on a diet as well (and it sure could use it)

Maybe getting another 5th generation with a I4 engine, possibly a 5sp with a F22 or a H22.

h22 is a 2.2 dohc vtec motor, while the USDM f22's are sohc motors. if you want more information, give a search on google or here a try and you will find your answers.

also:

H22 doesn't sport ductable iron sleeves
F22 does.
If the F22 has a piston for lunch, you replace the piston and sleeve. If it happens to the H22, start weighing your options.
