if you don't know you shouldn't get it.... it's not cheap... it's gonna cost you at least 10k for a safe running turbo S...

You should try the S2KI forced induction section, there is lots of helpful info. there.

All you need is a good tuning. So 7 PSI or 10 PSI is no problem

Best suggestions:

1. Figure out exactly what you want from a turbo kit. If you don't know, do some research or find a local shop who can help guide you.
2. Research, research, research.
3. Pick a kit (or build your own) that does what you want based on your research.
4. Enjoy the boost.

That is a comment from someone who's never done it. I put a turbo kit with high quality parts together for an S2000, engine management included, for $2000.

I know someone who spent $4000 on a complete kit, management included, and is making jaw-dropping horsepower with turn key reliability on a daily driven car.

To the original poster, go check out the forced induction forum on http://www.s2ki.com, or http://www.s2000turbo.com.

^ lol how would you know i've never done it before?? never done it with the S but will be at the end of summer.. but have done it on other cars.. so i know what i'm talking about...

this guy obviously doesn't know much about turbos to be asking simple questions like he is.. so he's not going to have the knowledge of piecing a kit together PROPERLY and SAFELY... he will be spending around 10k for complete setup... turbo kit from (lovefab, inline, full race).. ems for tuning, clutch/flywheel setup, guages, TUNING... he'll be running up to a 10k bill with installation and all easily...

I don't mean you've never done it before for a car, but not for an S2000. I'm sorry if I came off with an edge, I didn't mean to insult you.

But, I think that to say it costs $10,000 to turbocharge an S2000 is an incorrect statement, if you have any knowledge of these things or know someone who does, you can have a reliable turbo setup on your S2000 and not spend a ton of cash.

If the original poster needs help I'd be happy to assist

500 for 60-1 w/ waste gate
800 for a good use log style manifold
500 for injectors
1000 for intercooler and piping
600 bucks on gauges
500 for tuning

and additional crap

so yeah on the cheap side 7k
</TD></TR></TABLE>

Okay let me break this down for those who don't understand:
E-manage Ultimate w/ harness: 450 used
Tial 50mm BOV- 150 used
Tial 38mm Wastegate- 150 used
t3/t4 60-1- 500 rebuilt
550cc Injectors- 220 new
P-Fab log manifold- 400 new
24x12x3 intercooler- 150 new
AEM wideband- 250 new
boost guage & pod- 65
Downpipe flanges & 3" Stainless UJ Piping- 125
Aluminum Intercooler Piping- 150

Figure about $2300 give or take because of misc. fittings and oil lines.

KTHXBYE

F that E-manage mess

F that log style manifold mess

You also forgot tuning! </TD></TR></TABLE>

If you don't know what you're talking about keep the comments to yourself. Both the log style manifold and E-manage have been proven over and over again. Are there better alternatives? Of course there are, but these will get the job done and still make PLENTY of power.

And no I didn't forget tuning, that wouldn't have cost me anything but a couple hours. In this guy's case figure another what, $400 bucks?
