oil message
I had a little wrench & by milage it says oil life 10% - I took it for an oil change but not back to the dealer. They did not reset the light - Is there a way I can reset it on my own?

Yes, you can reset it on your own. I don't know if the '06 is different than what I drive so I won't waste my time giving you possibly the wrong proceedure.
Your shiny new car came with an owner's manual. It is filled with all kinds of insightful facts and information about your car. Try reading it sometime. The reset proceedure is in there too.

Thanks for all your help.............
Of course I looked in the Book first & it says the dealer will reset it - Hence why i asked how can i do it myself!!!!

theres usually either a small button on the dash by the light or under the dash right where the kick panel stops. like you would be pushing the button towards the roof.
I thought it was by your right hand.

Actually you asked "Is there any way I can reset it on my own?" to which I replied "yes".
It's curious your owner's manual doesn't include the information on how to reset it. Mine does. Anyway, in my case, .... press and hold the trip odometer reset button in and turn the ignition to 'ON'. Hold until the light goes out. Like I stated earlier, this may not be the proceedure your car.
