Default CAI

I bought a CAI from ebay from a company called K2 motor. On ebay they said it was for a 98-02 4cyl. A couple of days after i ordered it i found out that they charged me for 2 intakes but were only sending me one. I have tried to call them for about 3 days and nobody will talk to me and they say that their answering machine is full. After i got the intake i put it in with some modification. I later realized that the intake was for a 94-97.

Here is my question. Is there any difference between the 94-97 and the 98-02 intake? It fit fine and it seems to be working okay. The only thing is that there is a high pitched whistle evereytime i hit the gas. If anybody has had good or bad experience with K2 motor please let me know. Any help would be great. Thanx.

I actually have DC Sports short ram intake from a 94-97 Accord in mine. Fitment is perfect.

That whistle that you hear is merely the TB butterfly.

the throttle body (TB) butterfly (plate inside)

when it opens you hear a whistle as air passes over it and through the filter.

mine doesnt whistle on my cb7 but it makes a weird noise similar to a whistle.

P.S. I know that i sound like a little cautious bitch, but i just want to be sure. Im still a kid with his first car.
