They have these for sale on inlinefour.com, and I was just wonderin if anyone has had anyone experience with this gauge cluster, is it difficult to install(well any cluster is difficult), I am going jdm stye with my hatch and I just wanted to get some info on this. Any help is appreciated.

there is nothing difficult about a cluster swap. as long as its from the same type of vehicle and the same generation.
example: 93 Civic CX + JDM EG6 cluster=plug n' play
96 LS integra + JDM TYPE-R cluster= plug n' play
93 Civic + integra cluster= wiring mods

 

yup, just make sure they match OBD specs for your engine and ECU too.

 

You will loose your SRS/Airbag indicator.

 

I heard that it is really dim at night and the dimmer switch doesn't work.......don't know if it's true or not....any inputs??

 

yes, the dimmer will not function with the JDM guages.

 

anyways of fixing dimmer or setting it to the highest setting??

If you really want this, you should start learning your kilometers-to-miles conversion (If you live in the U.S.)! If not, you'll be way off on your scheduled maintenance....!

 

100km is around 60mph ..thats all you need
