Hi, I did some googling before asking here, but I couldn find any normal explanation

so here it goes:
I have chance to get H22a JDM engine from automatic tr. Prelude, I would like to swap this engine into mine H23a2 car....
the questions is : should I look for Europian H22aX manual transmission or I could use mine manual H23a2?

In one post I found, that gear ratios would be longer with H23aX transmission..
what is the down side of that?
it would take longer to accel. from 0-60mph ? or what?
