Which clutch is better for JUN 3 set up, around 200whps and 9500rpm?

both will work just as good, although toda's price diff basically is due to their lighter flywheel.

i have the toda package on special now

Save your money. Exedy Organic or ACT for those that go that route. As for Flywheel, Toda is the way to go, there. Chromoly and 9.1lbs. It is only a bit off what the Spoon weighs, but there is more to it than raw weight. The Toda retains most of its mass at the hub. We stock these, too.

I'm working on buying the Compech Aluminum Flywheel (6.75 lbs) and the ACT HD Pressure Plate, and ACT Street/Strip Clutch right now... We had one on my friends SC'ed LS, and beat the bejesus out of it. Great setup. As I understand it, Realtime uses the Al flywheels with no probs at all... Of course that's just what I hear...

Comptech is the lightest aluminum flywheel.

I think Toda is the lightest chromoly flywheel (but I might be wrong). Anybody weigh the Fidanzas?

I don't need a flywheel, since I already have one. I am just looking for the pressure plate and disc now.

How much is the Exedy clutch? It seem like the Spoon one is around $100 CDN cheaper than the Toda one. Is there any big difference between the Spoon and the Toda one that can justifly the extra $100?

Can the Spoon clutch hold up to 9500rpm?

ATS carbon clutch
the jury is still out on that one....i drove the standard material ATS clutch and didn't get along with it's enguagement. as soon as Yasu gets his J's B16B, i will race his car with the carbon clutch. if the enguagement is to my liking, it's going to be ATS carbon for me....

No. The Spoon and Toda are within a few ounces, but the Toda is more balanced with the majority of it's weight at the hub. Spinning is better and quicker. Going too light will kill daily driveability. On a Bseries stock is about 18lbs and on the R about 15lbs so you are already cutting out quite a bit of weight going to the 9.xx range.

I disagree. I have a clutchmasters 7lb and daily driveability has never been an issue. Are you speaking from personal experiance?
