Default Scammed by Convoy check out how.

So I send a usps money order for a gsr clutch and pp to convoy aka last name of Lima(just like the bean) from chicago illinois. He says that he had it shipped and sent me a copy of the receipt showing how much he paid and where it was going. So couple of weeks later after nothing he says that the postal service lost the package, all the time I had been asking for a tracking # (never recieved it). I used to work for the postal service and found it very strange. Some of my buddies who work there still did some invertigating and found that the ******* had cancelled the shipping of the package that same day thus he had a reciept showing that it supposively was shipped kept all my money and the blame goes on the postal service ineptness. No such luck ******* convoy (LIMA) you suck

listen up man i never scammed u, i received ur MO, sent the package out (payed more then u sent me on the shipping) via USPS w/o confirmation (since i already paid more for shipping) and it most have gotten lost. I have the receipt, i emailed it to u and now ur going around saying that i cancelled the shipping. comeone man show me ur prove that i cancelled it. U told me urself that u live in the goonies and **** takes forever to reach u. I talked to the post offive and they said that they cant find it. Before u go around posting about me why dont u talk to me over IM's why start a thread. Anyway i will show u that i have never fucked anyone over. I will also go back to the post office and talk to them again.

edit: Now ur dissing my name huh grow up

Provide proof that the shipment was cancelled, then maybe someone might believe you. But Miggy's not the type to scam anyone and i've done business with him many times in the past. Dont jump to conclusions.

I have dealt with Convoy before also... with ZERO problems!!! good guy to deal with in my opinion.

Looking at the situation from an outside perspective:

Convoy has been a member here on HT for roughly a year longer than you and has almost 2000 more posts than you. I'm not saying that makes him innocent but you are on here typing about how he "had cancelled the shipping" while making fun of his name and calling him an a$$hole ( childish)

If you want anyone to believe what you're saying you need some written proof that he cancelled it before you expect anyone on Honda Tech to believe you. Shipping errors occur all the time thats why there is shipping insurance..etc.

I hope you guys can work it all out Goodluck to the both of you!!!

Next time, try handling it through IM's first, before you go bashing someones name and trying to ruin their Rep. If you have tried... Post up the pm's, and show us your telling the truth. Show respect and respect will be given back to you, I'd be pissed if someone tried bashing me, without coming to me first!

I have delt with Miggy (convoy) many of times, and so have my friends. I have nothing but good things to say about him and the way he handles business transactions. I do not see any reason for him wanting to rip you off as well as anyone else here on h-t.

im sorry, but by no means is convoy a scammer. i dont know if you have ever shipped out a package, but if you have you'll know the USPS is a loit better priced when it comes to sending sh$$ out. i have sold A LOT of stuff recently and shipped through USPS. Great Prices, but there is one small problem, the "tracking #s" they give you dont really do ****. you can enter it in, but unless you have a varified email w/ them it wont show you any more that the fact to it was recived untill the day it is dropped off. other than that i know from personal use that they can be very slow at times and get it to you in 3 days or very busy and take almost twice the time. if he says he shipped it you can trust the fact that he did. im sure he prob cut you a nice deal on it too, so when you do get it in the mail you need to come back to this Over Anxious post that you made about an honest H-T member being a scammer and let EVERYONE know that you were wrong and call it a day!

you have to pay extra for delivery confirmation.

exactly, and he didnt pay for it, which means there is no way the post office can tell him anything about his package. I re-read what convoy said and he could be right, the post office probly told him they cant find it cuz there's no number.

sorry convoy.

to original poster, there's no way to tell what happened. next time just insist on a tracking number or send through fedex

I've delt with Convoy a couple times. Selling him stuff and planning on buying stuff. Also been with friends when they purchased parts from him and I highly doubt that he would scam anyone. He's a striaght forward guy.
Sounds like you recieved the **** but want your money back...... You claim they cant tell him **** about his package because he doesnt have a tracking number yet your friends can find out that he cancelled it????

yea but did u read mey 1st post?? i paid extra out of my pocket to ship it so i didnt pay the extra for confirmation. (also i took the package to both fedex and ups and they both wanted about $22 for the shipping, buyer sent me $12 for it). then let me see the prove that i cancelled the shipment. I know **** gets lost once and a while but he going around saying that the shipment was cancelled. that gets me thinks like j's 94 accord said " revers scamming". i see what the post office has to say.

ok, i went to the post office and here is what i found out
1. There is NO way to track the pakage without confirmation duh
2. There is NO way that your boy in the post office can find out that it got cancelled, once it leaves the office its no longer there respnosability.
3. It wasnt sent back to sender, so the post office nor I have it.
4. I can file a "lost mail" complaint form (which i will do when i receive your information belugosi) to investagate what happened to the package. (the post office has a seperate branch that does that)
