I have a customer who is wanting to build his b18b all motor. I have never built a LS motor before for all motor. Will any factor pistons work with the LS head or will all the valve reliefs be off? What needs to be done to make 155-165 whp? I was thinking .20 over 11:5:1-12:1, eagle rods, skunk mani, crower cams or zex cams. Will he need a port and polish job to reach this power level?

CTR or ITR pistons (JDM ones)....give ~11.5 CR in stock LS. Have em try the new 62402T's and see how those work for all motor, <U>lots</U> of lift but not very much more duration than stock.

 

I didn't think itr or ctr pistons work work. Is there any problem with the valves and pistons touching? I was under the impression the valve reliefs are slightly different.

 

You should IM 97blackteg on this board. He has a built LS motor using ITR pistons.
