Default spoon air cleaner question

Does anyone have this (see link below) in their AP2? And if so how does this work? With your stock box? In this link it shows the air box open, does this always stay open or are they just showing what it looks like inside? And can this work with the spoon snorkel?

it is just a replacement filter. youre suppose to gut the oem box so you get maximum airflow. the box should be closed, its only open to show what it looks like for advertisement purposes. yes youre suppose to use it in combination with the spoon snorkel but it is not necessary.

Complete waste of money. Get a comptech or K&N filter and save the money.
