Default CR-X interchangeable door trim question

I was wondering, is it possible for one who has door mounted seatbelts to put inner door cards from a pillar mounted seatbelt cr-x? Of course I would relocate the seatbelts to the b-pillar (have the full b-pillar seatbelt sets already), but I would like to keep the 91 doors and get rid of the door mounted seatbelt. Basically, I have a 91 Si with door mounted seatbelts, and I would like to keep the doors, remove the seatbelts, and put 88 door cards on without having to swap the door to an 88 door. Has anybody done this that can verify it? I'm hoping that it is possible because I'd really hate to swap the doors.

I don't know if this helps, but I have 91 door panels on my 88.

any noticable gaps or mis-fitments? If it fits exactly then that might answer my question in a reverse way.

why are you moving the belts if you aren't going to swap the doors? it is a lot of work for such a small level of convenience if you aren't going to save the weight.

but to answer your question, they work.

because I can buy LHD EDM door cards to make a power window conversion clean without having to purchase doors. I have brand new seatbelts too, and it's not a matter of trying to save weight, but I would like to be able to keep side impact beams for the matter of saftey. But thank you for confirming my question.
