Another Project: $700 95 Eclipse GSX
Well...I sold my 95 GST. Before getting to my 91 gsx I came across a 95 GSX that needed some work. (for 700.00 though...i thought it was worth buying.
I have a motor lined up for 440 delivered...and from there i'll get to the sunroof and mangled door handle area.
I figure 1500 dollars spent...should finish this car or at least return it to OEM stock. From there i'll probably ask 5,000.

DSM's are cheaper and offer more performance. I love honda's...i just can't afford them.

To build a honda that offers close to the same performance as my Colt GT would cost around 12k.
My car makes 320whp and handles better than most Honda's i've driven. All for about 7k TOTAL including the price of the vehicle. This includes EVO 1 front brakes, a KAAZ differential and a variety of other "upgrades."

Too bad it's a auto, and a stolen auto at that.. ( Crowbar marks on the door.. )

thankfully the car wasn't stolen...and just broken into. it amazes me how stupid people are when trying to break into a vehicle. i can get into a 2g eclipse in less than a minute with the right tools.
obviously...the idiots who mangled the door didn't have any idea what they were doing.

me too...i'm hoping i'll find someone who doesn't mind the auto gear box.
its actually not that hard to switch over to a 5spd setup...but it would cost more money than i'd like to spend on this thing.

anyone would do what i'm doing after realizing how easy it is to make a few grand here and there.
basically, this pays for everything else i do...that is car related.
2-3 grand is going to pay for 2 twin disk's, a fmic setup, a built motor and a decent suspension setup for my 91 gsx.
otherwise i'd be dipping into my savings...which i'd rather not do at this point.
