Default Good place online to buy motorcycle gear....

Specifically shoes or boots. I just cant see myself wearing those boots, so I am looking for some comfy riding shoes. Any websites someone has had good success buying things from?

TIA

Helmet Harbor - http://www.helmetharbor.com

I've purchased from all three.

What shoe would you guys recommend? I want something that looks good and is comfy, while offering a tad more protection that standard nikes or something.

I have these, Alpinestars Stunt shoe. They are real comfy and has little rubber studs for grip on the bottom where you put you feet on the pegs and also on top where you shift .

I use these Dr. Martens for regular commutes.

and these Alpinestars SMX Plus' for spirited riding.

Ankle coverage is a must. Even with racing boots, you can totally **** up your foot and ankle. There's a couple of us in here that can painfully vouch for that.

yeah i like those alpine stars but no ankle protection however I'll confess that I'd rather wear those or something similar with ankle protection instead of my full boot for around town and to and from class... Currently to and from class and around town I'll be found in sneakers or timb's

give riders inc. a call, they're having a HUGE sale right now until March 3rd I believe. I just bought a BRAND NEW alpinestars TZ-1 jacket for $235. They have boots for sale too. Cool guys to deal with

icon motorhead boots are pretty nice, i think you should actually go into a store and try some on though. I'm always iffy buying shoes online. go to like cycle gear or something, theres like almost one in every major city.

another vote here for Icon SuperDuty boots! i love mine, i can walk around in them all day and not have sore feet, and they dont look like power-ranger boots when i wear them with jeans at work.

terra-powersports.com has the best deal on superduty boots, thats where i got mine from (<$60)
