hey guys, need some help. im replacing the window regulator on my dads accord and im trying to take the door panel off. i've unhooked the door opener cable and unplugged the door lock wires. can i just pull the plastic piece that has the door opener and door lock off the panel? i've been trying to pry it off but it doesn't seem to come off. should i just pry it harder? i wasn't sure and i didn't want to break anything. or can i just pull the door panel up with the piece still in the panel? oh yea, its a 97 accord ex 4 dr. thanks

 

The doors are all kinda different but for the driver's door you have to slide the handle towards the engine then pull it out, get on your back and look up between the door and the panel to see what it looks like.

 

thanks, it came right off. now... any tips on getting the window out and the regulator out... is it ok if i just rip off this plasitc sheet. looks like some kind of waterproof sheet or something.

 

Just pull it off a lil so you can access the regulator. You can reuse it its to prevent debris and stuff going in there.
