Just like, making sure you put the right parts in the right place, a blue print.

Blue printing is ordering bearings specific to the markings on the rods, caps and the crank.

Such as this on my motor

Cylinder 1 B2, Cyl 2 B2, Cyl 3 B3, Cyl 4 C2

Main 1 4D, Main 2 2B, Main 3 3B, Main 4 2B, Main 5 2B

Taking these number you can order the bearing to blue print the motor. Any good engine builder should do this. Make sure that you use a center punch to mark which rod caps go into each cyl. Just make sure to keep it all in order.

Good try.

Great, thanks for the info. On scale of 1 - 10 on difficulty on rebuilding a honda motor how would you rate this? I think i want to this myself but I am sure going to need some help. I appreciate all the time so far.

I want to do a EF build up thread showing my progress, I think that is kinda kwel.

Hahaha. Woops, I never rebuilt a bottom 100% and I wasn't sure on that. I guess it's another thing learned. It's better then my friend 'B18C5, 1 size fits all' theory. Threw a rod thru his block because he found out that there was different bearings and we had to rebuild his engine on the blown bearings. Oh well. He had money to fix it.
