Default B-series mount issues

First off i made the mistake of not buying the hasport mounts for my CRX. I have a B18B and just read that one the hasport page that their B-series mounts will work for that motor "with a few extra parts". I have mounts i got off ebay and i think they're made out of a small machine shop. But any way, i had to modify the tranny mount and i got that into place with little effort. Then came the mount on the timing belt cover. I had it bolted to the motor and planned to drop it into the mount bracket attached to the car and the bolt hole in the mount was at about a 15 degree angle differece then the holes on the frame side. am I missing any parts on this side or are my mounts just that far off? Also, there is alot of side-to-side play with the mounts when bolted into the chassis brackets. Again, is this just my mounts or are you supposed to have washers?

were they black with shitty welds?

a guy im helping his swap with bought some, and he was having the SAME problem with his mounts.
i know your supposed to use an OBD0 engine side mount, and that is what we had, we even got another one to make sure, and it was still going in on the wrong angle. we just custom fabbed a 3/4" steel plate to bolt the motor side to and the mount side and its in there and not going anywhere

hasport makes awesome billet mounts, not shitty cast like u find all over ebay. I have a set of cast ones right now casue they were free, but if u are pushing any kind of power hasports rule and don't break. There are sometimes fitment issues with cheap mounts (cough Place racing cough) but now they have so many copies of the mounts from so many companies its hard to tell who made what anymore. Sometimes it just takes som love from a prybar to get them to line up

It's because you have a B18B. You need the mount from a B18A1, B16A (1st gen) or B17. Otherwise the angle will be off big time.

The mount itself brand new from Honda is about $50. Or you could just pull one from the wreckers.
