Default Need Info on Exhaust & Rims

Hey everyone. I'm new here to the forum, so bare with me. I drive a 97 prelude, and am finally going to be able to start modifying it sometime this year, if all goes well. I've got a list of ideas for it, but one of the things that still stumps me is, what type of exhaust should I get? I am looking for one that's loud, has a deep rumble to it, but not loud enough for me to get fined left and right by the cops. As for the rims, has anyone gotten the new march Honda Tuning issue? There's an artical on a white Type R civic with "Type R" rims. They are similar to the rims I'd love to have, but don't fit a 5th gen lude without changing the lug pattern. Does anyone know if the Type R rims in the mag will fit a 5th gen lude? I know just cause they have 5 lugs don't always mean they'll fit another car with 5 lugs. Thanks for the help!

welcome to H-T.

There is a red "search" button at the top, r-hand side of your screen. If you click on it, you can find all the info you need.

There's also an FAQ list at the top of the thread listing. I suggest checking that out as well.

exhaust: greddy evo2
5 lug type R wheels will work on a 5th gen with no problems.

apexi n1 is loud enough but not too loud. I switched to the world sport 2 after a little misshap with the towing company and i miss my n1 a lot

Ok thanks for the info. I've already been concidering an N1, but I've also heard a Borla on a prelude. I liked how it sounded. I can't say I've heard what the N1 sounds like on it. I don't want a sound like a tin can with a bee in it.
