Default K series race headers...interchangeable btwn. DC5 and EP3?

I'm looking for info on race headers and if they are interchangeable between the EP3 and DC5. I found a JRRH for EP3 for sale and I'm thinking of picking it up but I don't want to run into fitment issues. After calling JRRH, they just said they have different part numbers for a reason, one was designed for one chassis, the other for the other.

I could have sworn I've heard EP3s using DC5 race headers....are they interchangeable or will I just run into more rattling/fitment issues by picking up the JRRH for EP3?

BTW: I'm also planning on swapping a Type S IM/TB onto my K20A3. My friend has the parts at his house from his old motor, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are any other parts I'll need besides the obvious, TB/IM?

What i know of is that the DC5 header and cat is suppose to be longer than the EP3. I'm not to sure... I want to know the answer to this also. And if anyone else knows, Can the type R DC5 header and cat bolt on the Type S DC5 with the stock after cat with no mods?

iirc, the cat is longer on the rsx-s ... which will make the race header longer as well. the 4-1 header is interchangable though I think.
