if a cars alignment is really off would it try to pull off the dyno?

i was havin my car dynoed the other day and the guy at the shop had to really hold on tight to keep it on the dyno? tie downs were tight, everything was as it should be.

Alignment should not matter, as cars will center themselves on the rollers. I've dynoed cars with bad alignments.

If the car came close to falling off the rollers, it was not centered and strapped down properly.

if the allignment is off... and i mean REALLY off so that one wheel is at an angle when the otehr is straight, the car will not naturally center and try to drive off the drum... but if you cars allignment was that bad then you would have noticed driving over

i can drive the car 65 and take my hands off the wheel and it goes straight no problem. the car was alittle off when they pulled it on but did straighten out?i dont have power steering would that matter

no, power steering only would have an effect from the drivers perspective
