Does anybody know how much pressure should i be running in this engine i have an IM, AEM fuel rail, B&M regulator and gauge, stage 1 excedy clutch, Megan racing headder and thermal exhaust.

im currently running at 28psi

 

my d16a6 runs 30-31 at idle
if i bump it up to 32-33 at idle it really gets fast
but black smoke comes from running too rich so

i would suggest you turn it up a little

 

so if i put it at 31psi ill be safe?

 

I really dont know for the zc
but for the si the manuel says:

with the vaccum hose disconected form the fuel pressure regulator
84-90 fuel injected 35-41 psi
91 fuel injected 40-50 psi

dont know why its says it like that

but mine is at about 40 with the vaccum disconected
my stock Fpr was at 38
