a friend gave me a bottle of this blue stuff to try on my r and swears by it, *#1 wax blah blah*. i'd try to *search* right now but the sight is being worked on, so, anyone have any experience...or maybe something better?.thanks

 

I use Zymol everytime I wax my car. I usually put that down first and then some meguires gold class. Nice shine. Zymol kind of acts as a cleaner too, I would say it is one of the best waxes I have used.

 

i used the same blue zymol liquid wax last december and my car came out pretty nice. It's not hard wax so it won't last long, but for short term, it's a good wax. Easy rub on, take off.

 

It really depends on what Zymol you get.

Unfortunetly, Turtle Wax bought out Zymol and sell there own wax under the Zymol name. The baby blue cleaner wax is actually just a repackaged turtle wax. Before you buy any Zymol, check the manufactoring address.. if its from the united states, its turtle wax. You want to get the zymol manufactuered in germany, which is top quality.

 

i beleive the blue zymol is a polish, not a wax...??

i used to use zymol polish first then wax... but now im too lazy to do anything haha

 

I got the wax and car wash. I think the car wash stuff is hard to find. It is dark blue and smells like bananas They both work great


Lance-- Zymol makes a cleaner/wax. I guess it can be used as polish too

 

You should be a little carful with zymol. It is the best wax sold IMHO. You should only wax a small area at a time say, 2x2. but the wax on and let it sit for only less than a minuit. Buff it off and u will have a deadly shine. Do not use it in the direct sunlight. If it bakes on you probly wont get it off.
