Default NASA High Performance Driving School at CMP, who's up for it??

Just wondering who's in for CMP April 20-21st.. It will be a normal HPDE/Race weekend, with the debut of the honda-challenge, which several people from this board will be competiting in, including me. Here is info posted by grumpy (nasa race director) said about the disount

Club discounts for HPDE will be available, but in a different format. When you sign up for HPDE include your club name (Honda-Tech)and your member id (Honda-Tech screen name) on the entry. At the track, these will be counted. If we have 11 to 20 entries from your club, each entrant gets $20 cash back on the spot. Over twenty, each member gets $30 cash back.
One of the reasons we are going this way is to dovetail it into our new on-line registration system. There will be no tech lines if you pre-tech your car. No registration signin at the track. Just register on-line and grid your car when its your group. Could it be that easy?

Entry forms can be found here http://www.nasaracing.net/20apr02/index.shtml, without the discount its 279$ 11-20 people its 259$ and 250$ for 20+ people

Is this a driving school, or just the race?

Its both, driving school for anyone who just wants to start out, and its a race for all the guys who have their race licences and race preped cars.. I will be racing in the http://www.honda-challenge.com series.. I started out with driving school just like this until I made the step to racing.. if the prelude isn't ready yet, bring the GSR, you will have a lot of fun man!

Basically, there are Novice, Intermediate and Advanced groups for the driving school, and 2 or 3 different race classes. The track time is juggled throughout the day, which equals to about 115 minutes of track time for each group, which is more than enough, and classroom time as well

I will definitely look into it. To go to the school, do you have to pull your airbags and do all the crazy safety stuff, or would the GSR be fine as it sits?
