my guess is just pull it and convert ur bay to mpfi and u should be good to go. if u wanna upgrade to obd1 u could do that also, lot easier to tune and communicate with your car with obd1 than obd0

yeah he did the Mini swap!he's stupid b/c hes buying a b18 and then hes going to do the ls swap. i dont understand why though. but when he get the ls i get the b18 next. other than that mini swap its all stock. i converted the white hatch(mine) to MFPI just have to finish up connecting the hoses and its shoud work.

~ i should do obd1?
new to the new some of this lang. what does that mean?!?!? does it have something to deal with the ECU??!

yes you should defffinitly do the obd1 swap... thats what im in the middle of doing now, its taking me a little bit longer thought becaues i dont have the money for the dizzy ecu or 4 wire o2 sensor this weeek and on top of that im doing the wire tuck in the middle of it (pics are in my sig) obd1 is alot more compatable with more programs to tune and plus from what i hear the cars run 100% beter when they are hooked up correctly (obd1 not a *vtec* controler)

just askin but I thought honda didnt impliment the v-tec til 92 int the states so if its the stock engine it should be a d16a6 non vtec in that si. because I know that all the si cars in 91 were d16a6.

v-tech head on the car off of a....i dont know the motor.but he has the V-tech controller for it all and its all hooked up. the motor isn't stock, sorry. He has put a head on it to make it v-techa and put cams on it. i think im going to take the motor and rebuild the bottom end. and suggestions on what i should out in!?! and what is the compression ratio for the motor and size of pistions in it. its a stock si motor witha SOHC v-tech head on it.

so the obd 1 is a ecu?!

well since you have a dx, you are going to have to send your wiring harness to http://www.rywire.com and let them convert it to mpfi for your d16 also it is a good idea to get a pm6 ecu it is recommended but not needed, your engine mounts should mount right up you might have to change your axels because it's a dx unless he is giving them to you otherwise the only problem you are facing is a wiring harness!

just search and look in the forum FAQ's
Also, VTEC not V-TECH
OBD0 and OBD1 does deal with the ECU, dizzy, wiring

*vtec vtec vtec*
and if you already converted to mpfi you can just order the conversion harness it will be alot cheaper than sending your harness out there saving you a couple of hundred dollars

and obd1 is the ecu and the wiring harness

you will need
conversion harness
obd1 ecu (p28)
obd1 distributor
4 wire o2 sensor

if you use the pm6 ecu it will run like poo poo
it will run alot better with a p28 but to use a p28 you have to convert to obd1

if your gona change the pistons just use the ones from and 87-89 integra (d16a1 imprety sure) they are domed but of corse order them new

yea change the pistons. mill the head. use a different head gasket. tehre is alot of ways

they will run with a pm6.. but if you use the p28 you will notice a big difference
look in my sig.

92-95 civic/del sol ex or si for ecu (has to be manual)
02 sensor 92-00 civic/del sol all you can just use a 4 wire univeral
92-95 civic/del sol for the distributor... im prety sure all models will work i know the ex and si will

You might wanna try this link too:
http://www.angelfire.com/d20/h....html
I've picked up a 92-95 d16a vtec and all the other crap needed to make the swap into my 91 Dx CRX, been lazy though. Hope it helps w/ the obd-1 thing too.

ok, can't i use the obd0 instead of the obd1 im not using a pm28 though, im using a pm6

ok well then here is the deal with the pistons...im pretty sure the stock Hatch has a 9:5:1 ratio, im going to go a 12:5:1 ration with the pistons out of an 88-89 integra...here the confusion for me...can i use the ZC pistons out of a d16a1??
