cyp sensor
The CYP sensor detects the position of the No. 1 cylinder as the base for sequential fuel injection to each cylinder, whereas the TDC sensor serves to determine the injection timing for each cylinder. The CKP sensor determines the timing for fuel injection and ignition of each cylinder and also detects engine speed. The TDC sensor is also used to detect engine speed to read out the basic fuel injector duration for different operating conditions.
It's also known as the cam angle sensor.
