Fog lights
I am a newbe to this forum. I took some pics of my car last night and wanted to share them. I was having trouble finding some decent looking fog lights when I stumbled across these. I think they look ok. What do you guys think?

I also just purchased the new rota c8 color, full royal polished silver. It is hard to tell on here what they look like but they are somewhat of a goldish/bronze with a polish spoke and lip.

I don't think those are actually for fog, they don't seem to deflect light they seem to reflect off of it because they project some sort of white or blue im guessing which is no good for fog. im thinking those are more for looks, try something like mine, sorry for the whorage.
The bumper lights I believe I got from partstrain.com along with the corners. I got the headlights from my boyfriend at christmas. I think they come from ebay. The driving lights were ment to fill in the hole where I broke the non replacable drivers side fog light. Those were cheap from advance. The Rotas are 16x7 with a Yokohama avs es 100 ordered from jaydm.com. I also have the Omni Power suspension. It isnt lowered very much because I still wanted it to handle. I think the suspension was well worth the money, but I will never buy from them again. Customer service sucks there.

Agreed, just my opinion though.

Everything in the pictures look good except for the nasty head lights and the terrible "driving" lights. Both are an absolute waste of money. Once again that is my opinion.

This statement makes no sense what so ever. So you bought Omni suspension to leave it at stock height? And you think that leaving it at stock height is improving the handling? I'm just a little confused. If that is the case why aren't race cars (made out of street cars) sitting at stock height?
If you continue on your current path you need to put a windshield banner on the car that says "Chick Ricer"
Poor CRX

It is lowered 2 inches. In my opinion when you guys lower your cars more than that, 2 isnt very much in comparison. Plus when you lower a car too much, it doesnt handle as well becuase it can put the suspension in a bind. Hince why I put, its not lowered very much because I wanted the handling. And look again, it is not a stock height. Plus I went with new suspension becuase the stock stuff was shot. I will have to say, the lights, may not be the best, but that is what I like.
As for chick ricer, did you not see the brown car with pink wheels on here. That is chick ricer, not a yellow car with silver wheels.

The projectors, clear corners, clear turn signals, and clear projector style driving lights are a bit too much imho, but that's just me. Sweet y-49 rex though
I want one as my next car.

that looks like a really mint y-49 rex...if i were you i would get rid of the eghey projectors and the ricer pepboys fogs and put back the oem headlights and mabye get some sir or prelude fogs
the lights might not be everyones cup of tea, but as long as they function well enough for you, and you like them, keep them. You are the only one that owns that car and you should have fun with it.

statements like these just make me smile. this is one of those blanket statements that are so easy to poke holes in. you see crx toad when engineers design a car to a specific ride height they also plan at what angle the control arms will be at for a correct roll center height. now lets say that i am ricer girl or you for example and i want my car to sit 1/2" off the ground so that it hits on everything and i look really cool. now my roll center height is some where near the center of the earth and now i have to run excessively heavy springs and sway bars to make the car turn. thus limiting the amount of traction that i get out of a corner.
yes race cars do set low but fast race cars have also changed the roll center to compensate.
as far as the lights go i like them, like orgin said it's not everyones cup of tea and niether are those gaydm amber lights.
you will probably notice that my signature matches pinto power. that's because she is my girlfriend. i have done most of the work on this car and i am proud of it. we will post more updates on it this winter when we start the engine swap.
crxtoad she may be a girl but she races every saturday night at i70 speedway and i know she could drive circles around you.
