Default Running wires from door to car. What route ?

I have an EG3 and iam fitting keyless entry, i have all the actuators set up but when i have to run the wires from the door to the car i have no possible root, other ppl have used the rubber gromet from the door and then to the car.

Only thing is from the door to the car is a socket fitting and wont let any other cables through with it. The only hole in the door is the drain holes at the bottom .

Any help appreciated

you can go thru the factory scoket. look for the empty space and drill a small hole big enough for the wire to fit thru.

On an EG it's pretty easy, no drilling. On an EK I actually just take the doors off because it's faster and better. In some cases I'll drill new holes and put a rubber grommet in, then wrap the wires with heat shrink or split loom and black tape. Especially if it's actuators and speaker wire for components.

I followed this guide :

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=749123

but where it has the rubber gromet and then some wires in the middle, i have a gromet which protects a socket fitted with all the wires that need to connect to the door.

I think the only option is to drill a hole in the door and then to the car. But if someone has any other ideas iam open.

Thanks
Brainz

If you look closely at the plugs you will see two spots just outside of the pins that can be drilled out on both plugs, [door side and car side plugs] that will give you enough room the run 16ga wire through easily, I have run not only a 16ga speaker wire but 2 18ga wires for door locks into the door, and all the wires are inside the boot, no "punching holes" in the grommets 94
