Just looking for some feedback, I can get the whole coilover setup for 400 bucks brand new from my osp at work. I would however like to know if they are worth the money before go out and buy a set of them.

Please.. I can at least garuntee that the springs that come with the Edelbrocks are better quality amd have a better warranty than what omni's come with.

speaking of custom springs,
this is an email from marcus at edlebrock back from 04 on my question about custom valving and spring rates.

They are primarily a sporty street package.
It is possible to swap any Eibach 2.5" diameter spring onto the unit.
One
of our initial prototype sets is running 400lb/in springs at all four
corners and has run at willow springs with good results in that
configuration.</TD></TR></TABLE>

i like that they are running them inverted.
(less unsprung weight) = nice!!!
anyone know if koni sports can be run inverted?

Koni race shocks can be run inverted, but your looking upwards of $1500 each (memory could be wrong). The problem with having Koni sports inverted is that the shocks overal length has to be shorter to be run upside down to allow the proper amount of pivot at the shock tower.
Ground Control has a small article that details the fact that an inverted shock on a honda isn't really necissary. If your using alluminum shock bodies (like GC advance design), the shock body will weigh just as much as the steel shock shaft. This means it doens't matter which is on top or bottom. Thats their excuse anyways...

Our springs feature a very slight progression in order to provide the most comfortable ride and razor sharp handling while still using high spring rates. </TD></TR></TABLE>
well there you go. omni springs are "designed" to be progressive. which somewhat explains all this preload business regarding their full coilover suspension kit.
