Wassup guys, I drive 100+ miles a day on my teg and I was wondering if that turbonator supercharger thingy actually improves gas mileage and hp? I remember seeing that ad for awhile now, and I was wondering if anyone in this forum has it on their tegs. thanx in advance

But they won't be in your favor! hahahahaha ok...all joking aside....don't waste your money. From experience, they seem to work with domestic V8s. But with our import 4 bangers....ehh....you're better off spending the money on an intake system than those pieces of ****.

 

Yeah this guy from my work got 2 of them as a product test. After 2 weeks of having them in his truck he came to the conclusion that they do not add anything and actually were ba don his car.

 

yep! I had one...and from personal experience again...

1: first day - felt like it added a lil torque ( emphasis on FELT LIKE ) as it accelerated a little smoother

2: end of first week - car felt like it was going back to normal ( ECU probably adjusted to it or something )

3: end of second week - car was boggin like I was towing a ship anchor

4: took it off and car love me long time!!! I sold the POS to some ricer......

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that they don't spin, they sit still, and the air hits it and creates a vortex.
